Tibetan singers for you

Last Thursday, a Canadian friend and I had a sumptuous dinner at this Tibetan restaurant in Beijing called Paltadungkar.

Aside from the yummy Tibetan food, the waiters and waitresses also double as performers of the night in their little stage.

While the foreign guests showed appreciation to their performances by clapping their hands, the Chinese guests were so deaf and blind not to be bothered by the performance. Well, except a lone guy who eats near our table who actually intently listening and watching the show. He was well-mannered, I suppose.

And the odd thing was, everytime we clapped our hands, the Chinese customers would look at us and perhaps said something Mao-knows-what.

Anyway, here's a clip of a duet.
