Taste of Danforth

Danforth Avenue in Toronto has another name: the Greektown. Oh yeah, most inhabitants there are descendants of the gods and the goddesses. lol

As I snaked through my way on the crowded street on the last day of the festival Last Sunday, I’ve seen lots of Greeks, of course, and some Greek stage performances. And the Greek food, souvlaki, can be smelled everywhere. And for the first time, I saw and ate vasillopita. Strange though because I thought that bread is only prepared during New Years Day celebration!

Cant wait to be in Greece in 2012—before the end of the world (if you believe in the Mayan prophesy)! 😉
