George Washington known as USA’s first President and was one of the founding fathers of his country. The country’s capital, Washington, DC is named in his honor. And as if it’s not enough, they also built the Washington Monument, an imposing obelisk at the National Mall, to show their respect to a man who was “first in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen.”
